MLB ballpark bucket list: all 30 active parks

The 2026 active MLB ballpark chase is simple to say and harder to keep straight: visit the current regular-season home of every MLB club, log the game, and keep the record as parks change over time.

Verified: August 31, 2026.

What counts toward the active 30

For Stadium Stars, the active 30 means the current regular-season home venue for each MLB club in the season you are tracking. Temporary homes count while regular-season MLB games are actually played there; former homes stay in the historical passport.

Use the checklist as a passport, not a race

A clean 30-park list is useful, but the record matters more when it keeps the date, opponent, score, seat, who was there, and how the park felt on The Four: food, vibe, aesthetic, and access.

Plan runs around the schedule

The easiest progress usually comes from regional runs: two or three parks linked by real game dates, reasonable drive time, and enough room to enjoy each city before first pitch.

2026 checklist notes

Most old ballpark graphics get stale in small ways. These are the 2026 details that matter before you mark the active 30.

Athletics: Sutter Health Park counts now
The Athletics are in their temporary West Sacramento era. Stadium Stars treats Sutter Health Park as the active Athletics stop while the club plays regular-season home games there, with Oakland Coliseum kept as a historical Athletics park.
Rays: Tropicana Field is back on the active list
Tampa Bay returned to Tropicana Field for 2026 after playing the 2025 season at George M. Steinbrenner Field. A current active-30 checklist should use Tropicana Field for the Rays.
White Sox: Rate Field is the current park name
The South Side ballpark previously known as Guaranteed Rate Field was rebranded as Rate Field. Stadium Stars uses the current Rate Field name while preserving the park's earlier names in the historical record.
Astros: Daikin Park replaced Minute Maid Park naming
Houston's ballpark became Daikin Park for the 2025 season and remains the Astros' active home in 2026. Older lists may still say Minute Maid Park; Stadium Stars uses the current venue name.
