Target Field

Home of the Minnesota Twins in Minneapolis, MN.

What's it like to attend a game at Target Field?

Kasota limestone — warm, yellowish, quarried in Minnesota — sets Target Field apart from every other park built in its era, wrapping the exterior in something that actually belongs to the place. The North Loop location makes arrival easy: most fans walk through Target Plaza past the bronze Golden Glove and statues of Puckett, Carew, and Killebrew, or stop at Modist, Fulton, or Inbound BrewCo for a pint on the patio before first pitch. Inside, the Bloody Mary stands are worth the line — orders come garnished with pizza slices or sliders, closer to a full meal. Walleye skewers and Andrew Zimmern's AZ Canteen goat burgers round out a concession lineup that skews local. The illuminated canopy creates a visible halo over the upper deck at night. After a Twins win, watch center field: the Minnie and Paul sign lights up and the two figures shake hands across a painted Mississippi. Catch a night game for the full effect.
