Home of the Washington Nationals in Washington, DC.
The Navy Yard Metro station drops you a block from the center field gate, making Nationals Park one of the easiest arrives in the majors — no parking arithmetic, no long walks. The park itself is glass and steel rather than retro brick, designed to echo federal Washington, and from the upper decks the Capitol dome and Washington Monument sit cleanly beyond the outfield walls. Wide, river-facing concourses keep foot traffic moving and sightlines open throughout. Before the game, the Bullpen beer garden on Half Street — shipping containers, cornhole, live music — sets a loose, neighborhood-party tone that the ballpark's interior doesn't quite match once you're inside. Seek out Ben's Chili Bowl for a half-smoke: half pork, half beef, smoked and loaded with chili and mustard, a D.C. institution in its own right. First-timers should arrive early enough to walk the outfield plaza in April, when the cherry trees are still blooming.
