Home of the Miami Marlins in Miami, FL.
The Clevelander pool in left field — dancers, swimwear, nightclub lighting inside a ballpark — tells you immediately that this place operates by different rules. loanDepot park sits on the old Orange Bowl footprint in Little Havana, and the neighborhood does real work before first pitch: walk Calle Ocho, stop at Pinolandia for Nicaraguan fritanga, and you'll arrive with a better read on the franchise's actual identity. Inside, the 305 Menu prices most concessions at three or five dollars, making it one of the better value plays in the sport — grab the Miami Mex Taco Dog, a footlong in a tortilla with braised chili con carne and slaw. The bobblehead display on the concourse, hundreds of figures vibrating in unison behind glass, is a strange and specific pleasure. Driving is the practical choice; the surrounding residential streets aren't built for easy transit arrivals. Get there early, walk Calle Ocho first.
